Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 August 2026
1. The service and provider
ScaffQuote (the “Service”) is a photo-to-quote estimating tool for scaffolders, provided by Bond Labs Limited (trading as ScaffQuote) (“we”, “us”), company number 17285766, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. The Service is for trade users aged 18 or over.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone’s rights;
- upload content you have no right to upload, or that is unlawful, harmful or offensive;
- attempt to break, probe or circumvent the security of the Service, or access another user’s account or data;
- resell, scrape or misuse the Service or interfere with its operation.
3. Your data and your customers’ data
You are the data controller for your customers’ personal data (client names, emails, site addresses and building photos) that you enter or upload, and we process it on your behalf as your processor.
You warrant that you have the right and all necessary permissions to upload building photos and to enter customer details, including any photo consent required from the property owner or occupier, and that doing so does not breach anyone’s rights. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Estimates and visuals are indicative only
Important. The AI measurements, kit list, labour estimate and photoreal render produced by the Service are indicative only. They are:
- not a structural design, engineering calculation or compliance certificate;
- not to be relied on for tube counts, loadings, ties, foundations or TG20/TG30 compliance;
- an approximate starting point. The kit list and labour are estimates only.
You remain solely responsible for the actual scaffold design, its safety and its compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. The photoreal render is a visual aid, not a representation of the scaffold that will be erected.
5. Your quoted price is yours
Any price the Service helps you produce is your price, set by you using your own rates and margins. You are solely responsible for the prices you quote and the quotes you send to your customers. The Service is a tool to help you; it is not a party to any contract between you and your customer.
6. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the photos, quotes and customer details you submit. We own the Service, including the software, design and documentation. You may use outputs (quotes, overlays, kit lists, renders) for your own estimating and selling. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Service itself.
7. Fees
Billing is not live. Founding access is free. A paid plan of £14.99/month inc VAT is planned. There is no charge today, and there is no Subscribe button in the Service.
When billing starts, the price shown will include VAT and will be monthly until cancelled. You can cancel in Settings. The Service is for trade users aged 18 or over. The 14-day cooling-off right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to business use. We do not take payment today. If we later sell paid plans to consumers, we will state the 14-day right, the price including VAT, renewal, and how to cancel, before any charge.
8. No warranty and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service, its estimates or its outputs are accurate, error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss arising from your reliance on any estimate, kit list, render or price produced by the Service. Subject to the next sentence, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you are on a free plan). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time (Settings → Delete account, or Support). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the Service, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the data-handling and retention provisions of our Privacy Policy apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
